Calcium chloride anhydrous dryer can absorb the moisture content (water) in acetylene to make the acetylene dryer by using the absorbent of calcium chloride. Calcium chloride anhydrous is (a kind of) consumable during operation (in work process) and should be added regularly. Therefore, the dryer is labor-intensive operation with poor safety, thus it is suitable for the small-scale acetylene production equipment.
Acetylene mole-sieve dryer is based on the principle of "natural balancing of load between adjacent adsorbents" (load of adjacent adsorbents should be balance naturally"). In drying phase, adsorbent can absorb moisture content (water) from the gas with higher pressure in the (flowing through) absorber. During regenerating phase, less amount of pressure-reduced dry gas will be led back to the absorber for regenerating of adsorbent which already absorbed moisture content (and the adsorbent can be regenerated through emitting a little of pressure-reduced dry gas to absorb the water in adsorbent). The adsorption heat released from the drying phase can be used for heating of cooled regenerated gas due to pressure reducing, thus the regeneration effectiveness can be improved and the regeneration gas consumption can be reduced. The whole work process of dryer can be divided into four steps, the dryer shall be controlled by full pneumatic control system or electrical switch control system designed by our company specially, and the operation is simple, safe and reliable.
